Prenatal:
Education & preparation
Being as prepared as possible before your baby comes sets you up for the most success.
Our prenatal support offerings will give you the information, support, and resources to be confident and prepared as possible.
You’ve stacked up a reading list a mile high, gone down the Google rabbit hole, and attempted to sift through the advice your friends and family lovingly gave you (even if you didn’t ask).
Still, information overload is definitely a thing.
How does all the information apply to you? What are the must-have items? What information should you trust? Let us take the guesswork out of the preparation process. We’ll tell you what you need to know without wasting time and energy trying to make sense of everything out there.

First, you’re right. There are… SO. MANY. CLASSES. Our educational approach is special because we balance holistic ideas with practical, real-deal information. We narrow down the curriculum to exclude the fluff. We’ve also found that a lot of classes and workshops out there are focused on particular goals. We don’t cater, for example, to non-medicated births, and we talk about the spectrum of what lactation can look like. You can also trust, to the best of our ability, that you’ll be welcomed to an affirming and safe space. Whatever your family’s identity, goals, and values are, they will be honored here.

The short answer is yes. If you’ve experienced mental health challenges in the past, the emotional vulnerability involved in welcoming a new baby can trigger those things to come back up. Some parents find that their symptoms are more intense than they were in the past, too. But, there is hope! It’s our honest opinion that these struggles can be prevented and managed if tended to appropriately.
